I would love to see the original portrait that you based this image on. I think it's a really interesting concept. Almost replacing the human subjects with the animal. Is it a commentary on human nature? Are we animals? Or is it a satirical and almost humorous piece? Is it showing the bond between animals, specifically packs of wolves/dogs, and their natural instinct to hunt? I can see this being inspired by a turn of the century portrait of father and son in a hunting lodge. The wolf cub is coming of age. It's now time for him to learn how to be part of a man's world.
